Export is a term used in most software programs to save as or "export" a file in a different format. This allows software programs to save a file in a different format for use in another software program or application. A lot of times a customer can use an unsupported application but export the file to a format that our support programs can read. Example: Corel Draw can export as a .AI file (.AI is Adobe Illustrator Format). Since .CDR (Corel Draw Format) is unsupported but .AI (Adobe Illustrator) is a supported format a person using Corel Draw could save a file in a format we could use to print. WARNING: When exporting from one program to another sometimes the image may appear differently or some things unsupported in the other format could be lost. After exporting check all proofs very carefully and its suggested to bring in a hard copy print out of the original image to check for any inconsistencies.
