There are a wide variety of software applications for Graphic Design/PrePress. At Williams Printing & Office Supply we use Industry Standard Applications to ensure compatibility with customer files and other company standards. Are graphic designers are trained experts in the operation of these applications. (See side panel for SUPPORTED PROGRAMS)

We also have on-site UNSUPPORTED programs such as Quark Express 4.1, Corel Draw 7.0, Microsoft Word, Microsoft Power Point, Macromedia Freehand 8.0. Since these programs are UNSUPPORTED, our designers have a working understanding of these programs but do not use them on a regular basis so files done in these applications can take longer to setup for print and can hinder the PrePress process. If you are using an UNSUPPORTED software application listed above to design your project please look over our SAVING FILES page for critical information on how to bring in your digital file or contact one of our Layout Designers so they may work with you directly in getting your file prepared for PrePress.
At Williams Printing & Office Supply we use Adobe Software for all of our Inhouse Design and PrePress services. These applications are Industry Standard.
   

Adobe Photoshop 7.0.1
We use Photoshop for rasterized digital images and graphics for PrePress and web graphics, photo retouching and color correcting, and large digital prints. Usually used for 4 Color Process images, Single Color Images, or Duo tone Images.
   
Adobe Indesign 2.0.1
This is our main layout program which we use to layout our designs for Quality Printing and ad designs.
   
Adobe Illustrator 10.0.3
We use Illustrator for vector images for use in Spot Color designs in Quality Printing designs and Ad and Logo Designs. We also use this for Laser engraving, Large Digital Prints, and sign & banners.
   
Adobe Pagemaker 7.0.1
We use this mainly to take in other customers files and check them before converting them to Indesign Files.

We use this program to generate PDF files for email proofs and if requested, for Ad designs to be printed elsewhere by another company. (Ex. Phone Book Ad Designs or Newspaper Ad Designs)
