Digital Printing (Printing directly to our Hi-Speed Copiers and/or Dye Sub Printers) is another service we offer at Williams Printing & Office Supply. We send files directly from our Layout Department Computers directly to our output devices. This renders a better quality because you are cutting out the "copying off the glass" technique. By sending it directly the copy is a first generation where as if a copy was printed out then put on the glass and copied again it would be a second generation (a second generation is of lesser quality than a first generation or the original). For an example when cassettes were a popular form of media for recording music, if you copied a tape directly from the original it was almost as good as the original. But if you copied a tape off the original then made a copy from the first copy (a second generation copy), the degradation of the quality was noticeable.
